Day 1 of the European Disc Golf Festival 2024 is history
Day 1 of the European Disc Golf Festival 2024 is in the books, and it has already made history. This isn't just because it marks the inaugural day of the EDGF, but also due to Ricky Wysocki's phenomenal -16 round, with an unofficial rating of 1119. This round has shattered numerous records:

With this performance, Wysocki has a six-stroke lead over the rest of the MPO field as we head into the second round.
The MPO field will tee off at 11:30 AM. The chase card, featuring Matthew Orum (-8), Gregg Barsby (-8), Calvin Heimburg (-9), and Paul McBeth (-9), will start their second round at 4:45 PM. The lead card, consisting of Ricky Wysocki (-16), James Proctor (-10), Väinö Mäkelä (-10), and Kyle Klein (-10), is set to tee off at 5 PM. With such a talented group, we're definitely in for another exciting day of disc golf action.

On the FPO side, Heidi Laine delivered a stunning performance with a 9-under-par round, unofficially rated at 1028. She holds a two-stroke lead over Eveliina Salonen (-7), with Kaidi Allsalu (-5) and Keiti Tätte (-4) close behind. The FPO lead card, featuring these top players, promises to draw quite a crowd, especially with the strong Estonian presence. They will tee off at 11 AM.
They FPO field will start teeing off at 8:45 AM. The FPO chase card, featuring Jenni Karppinen (-2), Anneli Tõugjas-Mäniste (-1), Missy Gannon (-1), and Helene Bierne (-1), will start at 10:45 AM.
